Wellness Expert, Elissa Erman To Join The Team at Paradise Home Health Care

Paradise Home Health Care announces the addition to its team of Wellness Expert, Elissa Erman, RN, BSN, CDE, CWC, and CHC of Universal Coaching Services LLC. Her credentials include specialties in Diabetes Education, Health and Wellness Coaching and Plant-Based Nutrition.

Paradise Home Health Care of South Florida announces the addition to its team, Wellness Expert, Elissa Erman, RN, BSN, CDE, CWC, and CHC of Universal Coaching Services LLC. Her impressive credentials include specialties in Diabetes Education, Health and Wellness Coaching and certified in Plant-Based Nutrition.
Ms. Erman helped with creating and working in the Wellness Department of Walt Disney World’s on-site Wellness Center.
Linda LeMonte, founder of Paradise Home Health Care explains, “We assist and care for so many people who can improve their health and wellbeing by learning about nutrition and other aspects of a healthier lifestyle. We hope that by adding Elissa to our team, clients and family members can learn some new, healthier habits.”
Ms. Erman does a great deal of public speaking and Group Wellness Programs in addition to her Individual Coaching offerings. “This dovetails nicely with our philosophy of life enrichment and the community talks we already provide,” explains Sherry Picker, MSW.
Some of the topics include: Caring for Diabetes; Healthy Snacking; Happy Healthy Heart; Passage to Peace – Stress Management and other topics geared to men and women respectively. “One of my favorite activities is doing a Smoothie Party at Senior Centers and Independent Living Facilities with healthy food choices. It really gets the participants excited about making healthy lifestyle changes,” says Ms. Erman.
“Many older adults just don’t know how to shop healthy and don’t have experience with healthy cooking. Also, some don’t feel motivated or feel so overwhelmed with all the options out there nowadays, that they just don’t know where to start. This partnership with Universal Coaching Services LLC will help bridge the gap between where our clients currently are and where they would like to be. We will work with the clients’ personal goals as well as the goals their doctors have for them to achieve optimal health.”
Ms. Erman is effective in helping people get inspired, motivated, and active with reaching their health goals. She supports clients with diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood, pressure, and reaching and maintaining a healthy weight.
“I also motivate Boomers and seniors to achieve and maintain optimal health, better manage daily stress and advocate personal and spiritual growth.” explains Elissa. “My goal is to show clients tools to help them create and maintain healthier lifestyles.”
Ms. LeMonte says, “Quality of life” is truly a core belief at Paradise Home Health Care. We assist people to remain as independent as possible in their homes or chosen senior community. Often the caregivers (spousal and hired) are most interested in learning more about healthy lifestyles; from shopping, cooking, and exercising to spiritual growth. Therefore, I feel it is very important to offer these things to our clients and program participants. I am happy to have Elissa Erman consulting and working with us, helping to make a positive change in clients’ lives”.
