Council Bluffs,United States - November 5, 2022 /PressCable/ —
Vision Specialists has announced the addition of Jordan Keith, O.D., F.A.A.O., Dipl. A.B.O., to their practice in Council Bluffs. Dr. Keith brings a long history in the optometric field, as both an astounding provider and a respected educator to his peers. His achievements, and emphasis on patient-doctor relationship, will further Vision Specialists’ mission to provide with exceptional, modern eye care.
“We’re excited and honored to have an esteemed optometrist like Dr. Keith join us at Vision Specialists,” said Dr. Kyle Cheatham, CEO of Vision Specialists. “He’s truly an expert, and he’s committed to education and providing the best care. I know patients will appreciate his dedication, skill, and what a people-person he can be.”
Dr. Keith is a North Dakota native who completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Minot State University. He achieved his Doctor of Optometry at the Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon, where he received the highest honor in his class — the Dean’s Award. Afterwards, Dr. Keith went on to complete his residency in ocular disease at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
After his education, he became full-time faculty at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in Chicago, and saw patients at the Illinois Eye Institute. Additionally, he served as Chief of Eye Care Services at the Sidney Hillman Health Center, and received six teaching awards from students at ICO. From there, he served as a Trustee on the Board of the Minnesota Optometric Association; co-founded KMK Optometry Coaching; and to this day, provides education to students and professionals around the world.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Vision Specialists — they’re remarkable at what they do!” said Dr. Keith. “I love to connect with patients and make a difference in their lives, and Vision Specialists is the perfect place to do that. When a team is close, and working towards the same vision (no pun intended) great things occur, and patients benefit the most — I can’t wait!’
Dr. Keith — who recently made Newsweek’s “America’s Best Eye Doctors” as voted on by his peers in 2022 — will begin working at Vision Specialists’ Council Bluffs location in November. He’s taking appointments for current and new patients.
