Georgetown, United States - April 11, 2017 /PressCable/ —
Patch-Up Products, the expert first aid kit provider, has launched a new report on the first aid kit essentials for parents and families. It is written as a checklist so that people set to go on vacation, travelling, or simply people wanting to stay safe around the home, can make sure they have everything they need for emergency preparedness and peace of mind.
More information can be found at: http://www.patchupkit.com/first-aid-kit-essentials…
The report explains that for families who want to be prepared for common accidents and injuries, it is important to maintain a well-stocked first aid kit so that essential emergency items can be provided in times of need, whether at home or on the go.
Kits for home and car, RV, boat, or suitcase should be compact, so that they are easy to store, but big enough to hold the wide range of supplies that is needed to protect families and to keep them safe and healthy. The Patch-Up First Aid Kit contains plenty of items to treat groups and large families. For families on the go, a smaller kit can be arranged by keeping just a few of each of the essential items in the ‘Bonus Travel Pouch’ that has recently been added to the kit.
The checklist features a breakdown of the basic recommended items that every family should have access to in their first aid kit. The list includes a breathing barrier for administering CPR, and tweezers, which can be useful for removing splinters, and scissors.
In addition to this, it’s important to maintain a good supply of bite and sting relief packets, alcohol wipes to disinfect, scissors, tweezers, and hand wipes for those occasions when there isn’t easy access to water for washing hands.
Burn cream, non-latex gloves, a thermometer, and an emergency blanket also feature on the list, alongside and an instant cold pack. Adhesive bandages are first aid items that are often used up quickly, but not with the Patch -Up Kit. There is an ample supply of 8 different varieties of latex free adhesive bandages for large, medium and small wounds, for finger, knee, and elbow wounds, and butterfly adhesive bandages for closing lacerations. These bandages are specifically tailored for virtually every type of common scrape, wound or laceration that families and children may encounter.
The list also includes additional items that can be added to cater for a wider range of hazards and first aid preparedness. These include gauze pads, eye patches, safety pins, and cotton buds, among others.
All of these items are contained in the Patch-Up First Aid Kit, which also includes their “First Aid Guide for Common Accidents and Injuries”, and “Instructions-How to Use the Items in Your Kit'”.
The Patch-Up First Aid Kit is available on Amazon.
