Thunderbird Custom Design Offers Residential Custom Media and Entertainment Walls

July 06, 2020 - /PressAdvantage/ - Thunderbird Custom Design, a company based in Peoria, Arizona, has announced that they are offering residential custom media and entertainment walls. In addition, they can also provide custom stone fireplaces, audio entertainment equipment, and setup flat screen TVs and more. The company is a premiere contractor for residential custom media and entertainment walls, gas or electric fireplaces, component cabinets, and audio / video equipment. It should be noted that they will not just build any media wall for the home, but they will build a custom Thunderbird Wall. Meanwhile, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, they currently provide virtual design consultations to ensure the safety of both customers and staff.

Brandon Luna, Founder and CEO of Thunderbird Custom Design, says, “There are two main goals that our customers have when planning to design and build a custom media wall in their home. The first is to blend form and function and display their media equipment in an attractive way. Our designs take your audio/video needs into consideration, so that your television, equipment, speakers and wiring are all blended harmoniously into a work of art. Most of our walls include custom cabinets to hide your equipment and wiring and we are often able to move these to another room to give you more room for display. We also plan for the future and design your wall to allow for expansion to a larger TV.”

He continues, “The second, and probably most common goal of our customers is to separate themselves from the rest of the pack and create a truly one-of-a-kind entertainment wall. Most are tired of the same cookie-cutter entertainment center or credenza and are excited to think outside the box. There is no real limit to what mediums we can use to make your wall 100% you, and while some walls may have a similar feel, the colors and textures you choose along with your decorative style will give each wall its own unique fingerprint.”

A Thunderbird Wall is a media wall that has been designed to blend with the home’s architectural style with a wide range of finishes and textures to provide a focal point in the home that represents the homeowner’s unique character. For instance, such media walls may include a glass shelving, mosaic tile, and a linear electric furnace. It may also include some stacked stone or floating wood shelves. Or rustic wood accents may be combined with decorative drywall elements for a southwestern style home.

The Thunderbird Walls offers a create way for a homeowner to add character to the home, make the wall unique, and display any preferred decorative pieces and memorable items. Up and down LED lighting can be provided for the media wall to highlight certain decorative or memorable pieces or add ambiance to the living area.

Custom component cabinets can be added to the media wall to provide an attractive way to hide wiring and audio / video equipment, thus providing a neat and elegant look to the living room. Wood beams or shelves may also be added to showcase artwork and photos in an elegant manner. In addition, natural stone or tile accents can be provided to add texture and depth to the custom media wall.

And by using drywall creatively, unlimited design possibilities that seamless blended with the living area’s existing space can be achieved. And finally, including a gas or electric fireplace can add some warmth and ambiance.

Thunderbird Custom Design was established in 2005 with the goal of building custom media walls, which were then just drywall and lighting. In 2009, they decided to focus on the design and building of a custom media wall that provided the answer to the changing functional and style requirements of their clients, and the Thunderbird Wall was born.
