Patients can now get access to Invisalign to correct various tooth misalignments and bite problems. In addition to improving dental aesthetics, the new form of orthodontics can improve gum health and minimize tooth decay by making it easier for patients to clean their teeth.

Made from clear thermoplastic, the new Invisalign aligners from Dr Dave Richards do not draw attention to the patient’s mouth area in the same way that fixed braces do. Therefore, the treatment is ideal for teenagers and adults who want to improve the appearance of their smile discreetly.

Types of orthodontic problems that Invisalign can fix include crowded, crooked, and gapped teeth. The aligners can also correct mild to moderate overbites, underbites, and crossbites. Occurring when the top and bottom teeth do not line up as they should, these conditions can cause jaw pain, chewing and breathing challenges, cavities, and speech impediments when left untreated.

Patients that opt for Invisalign treatment with Dr Dave Richards will receive a series of custom-made aligners designed to gradually move their teeth into the desired position. The appliances should be worn for 20-22 hours per day and can be removed for eating and tooth brushing. Typically, the Invisalign process takes 3-12 months to complete depending on the patient’s corrective needs.

Other treatments available at the clinic include dental bridges for missing teeth. Commonly consisting of an artificial ceramic tooth supported by crowns on either side of the gap, bridges restore appearance, chewing function, and speech.

Dr Dave Richards provides a wide range of modern dentistry services utilizing minimally invasive techniques at the Natural Smile clinic. Patients can contact the surgery to book a consultation to assess their bite and dental health.

A satisfied customer said: “Dave and his team are fantastic, and I am really happy with Dave’s work on my teeth. I’ve waited 33 years to be able to smile properly again, and now I can thanks to the Natural Smile team. Highly recommended, modern, friendly, professional, and very helpful.”
