Ltd. is excited to announce its initiative to produce biochar from sugarcane bagasse waste, along with the issuance of CO2 Removal Certificates (CORCs) to combat climate change. CORCs represent the verified removal of 1 tonne of CO2 equivalent emissions.
The project aims to propel the carbon removal landscape in Indonesia by harnessing the potential of sugarcane bagasse waste. Through an innovative process, SAWA will transform this agricultural residue into biochar, an environmentally friendly and highly effective carbon sink. By sequestering carbon emissions through biochar production and storage, SAWA is committed to contributing significantly to the fight against climate change.
