For the fourth time in 25 years, Pinehurst No. 2 - dubbed the Home of American Golf - will host the US Open. As with other major golf championships, securing accommodations as early as possible is vital. Bob Klug of Pinehurst Area Realty (PAR) has released a list of accommodations and rental packages featuring homes and estates located on the No. 2 course and in the Fairwoods on Seven neighborhood, giving guests access to gates located at holes 4, 5, 9, and 10.

“Pinehurst No. 2 has welcomed some of the greatest names in golf. People like Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Fred Couples, Tiger Woods, and Bobby Jones,” says Klug. “For those eager to be at the center of the action at the 2024 Open, we’ve listed a range of luxury nearby home rentals.”

Klug says a key benefit of renting accommodations close to the championship is that between the morning and afternoon tee times, attendees can walk back to their homes for a rest instead of being trapped at the course or trying to navigate traffic with back-and-forth trips to their hotels.

One of the homes listed by PAR, as an example of what remains available, is a 4-bedroom/3.5-bath home located 200 yards from gate 8 on the course. Appointed with a rich, traditional palette and furnishings, the home features spacious living and dining areas, a fully stocked kitchen with an island and high-end appliances, washer and dryer, ample indoor/outdoor spaces connected by French doors, and windows along the back perimeter of the home that offer stunning area views.

PAR represents rentals in Fairwoods on Seven, Donald Ross & Pinehurst, The Woodlands & Monticello, and other Moore County neighborhoods. With a few homes already rented, Klug says now is the time to secure course-side accommodations for one of the most anticipated golf tournaments of the year.
