According to the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, there are over 300 species of termite in Australia grouped into three categories – subterranean, dampwood and drywood termites. The West Indian Drywood termite, considered the most destructive drywood termite, effects Brisbane, Maryborough, Bundaberg, Rockhampton and the Townsville areas.

Pest Daddy Gold Coast is the fifth location to be opened by Pest Daddy in less than five years in operation. Pest Daddy focuses on termite control, removal of Cockroaches, ant control and rodent control in five Australian cities.

“We are extremely proud of our staff, thankful to our customers, and excited over what the future holds for Pest Daddy Brisbane as we continue expansion with our fifth location here in Gold Coast.” States Pest Daddy Brisbane founder, Chat Edirisinghe, about the recent opening of their newest location.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, there are over 300 species of termite in Australia grouped into three categories – subterranean, dampwood and drywood termites. The West Indian Drywood termite belongs to the drywood species and is extremely dangerous, requiring special handling and reporting to the Australian Government when found in homes.

Pest Daddy employs specialized technicians trained in the latest methods to hand the West Indian Drywood termite among many other pests that may infect a home. Prevention is the number one method of defense for termite control. Prevention starts with inspections by trained professionals.

Renters in Australia are required to perform an “End of Lease” pest control inspection. This is a service offered by Pest Daddy to the Gold Coast residents that rent instead of purchase homes. Pest Daddy complies with all required laws and regulations concerning the “End of Lease” requirement.

Termites can cause untold amounts of damage to a home or businesses without being easily identified. Professional service technicians trained in the latest methods, with the latest and safest product are the most reliable method in protecting your home or business. If West Indian Drywood termites are found, professional service technicians with Pest Daddy are trained in the proper channels of government that require notification. Removing such a termite requires above average product and technicians.
