The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2023 list was chosen based on a peer review system. This process begins with a nomination, followed by votes from all candidates and other peers. The results are then reviewed, and eligibility is checked for each candidate. The process is designed to capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.
About Personal Injury Lawyer Brandon S. Finz
Brandon S. Finz has always wanted to help those in need, leading him to the legal field. He was inspired by the strong example set by his father, Stuart L. Finz, the Senior Trial Attorney and CEO of Finz & Finz, P.C., and grandfather, Leonard L. Finz, a former New York State Supreme Court Justice.
After receiving his Juris Doctor with honors from Georgetown University Law Center, Mr. Finz began his career at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious law firms. While Mr. Finz made a name for himself at the major Wall Street law firm, he knew his passion was advocating for those who truly needed legal assistance. He focuses on representing victims severely hurt from personal injury incidents and medical malpractice.
Along with the recent Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch announcement, Mr. Finz has been recognized by New York Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” and the 2022 Lawyers of Distinction. He is also a founding member of the Alumni Board of the Corporate & Financial Law Organization at Georgetown University Law Center and the author of “Uncertainty Will Persist: Perpetuating the Battle Over Natural Gas Taxation Through an Analysis of Missouri Gas v. Kansas Division of Property Valuation,” which was published by The Tax Lawyer.
When he isn’t representing his clients, Mr. Finz can be found with family and friends while traveling, hiking, and rooting for his favorite sports teams – the New York Mets, New York Knicks, and Baltimore Ravens.
