Three family-focused entities – New Mommy Media, Scripps Health and the Parent Connection – all based in San Diego have collaborated to create Live Google Hangouts for moms, dads and caregivers. These Hangouts offer solutions to everyday parenting problems, so balancing daily life is simpler.

San Diego-based New Mommy Media, the creator of podcasts for new and expectant parents, has partnered with Scripps Health and the San Diego Parent Connection to bring live Google Hangouts to moms and dads looking to improve and balance their existing lifestyle. While Scripps Health in San Diego is an integrated health system committed to providing high-quality family care, San Diego Parent Connection is a parenting support group. Consequently, the partnership brings families together and offers support, shared experiences and builds strong relationships and lifestyles.

Recently announced, the partnership brings more than 15 parenting and family-orientated hangouts to life so that parents – moms, dads and caregivers – feel connected to others who are experiencing what they are. These hangouts include Preparing Kids for Work and Life, Practical Must Haves for Parents of Newborns, and Preventing Power Struggles with Our Kids just to name a few.
Broadcast live and recorded, the Hangouts hosted by Sunny Gault of New Mommy Media, interview experts relating to the topic of discussion. Parents are then able to watch these broadcasts live or later when the live recording makes an appearance on New Mommy Media and their YouTube channel.
With the average length of the live Google Hangouts ranging from 15 to 20-minutes the live broadcasts typically fit in the busy schedule of any mom or dad. Plus, they offer solutions to everyday problems that parents encounter and make balancing daily life simpler and more enjoyable.
