(PRUnderground) September 2nd, 2020
Salamanca, New York-native, .thrax is an emerging artist who makes music in a wide range of music genres. Fitting his music style into a particular category wouldn’t do justice to this musical flair. He has tried his hands in music styles ranging from Hip-hop to Rap, Indie to pop, and Neo-Soul to R&B, you name it. With his diverse and unique approach towards music, .thrax is rapidly paving his way through the music industry.
After the success of his previously released songs, including “Creep”, which bagged the #24 spot on Hong Kong charts, .thrax is ready to take forward his musical endeavor to the next level, with his upcoming album titled “Social Disconnect”. Scheduled to drop on September 4, 2020, “Social Disconnect” is as real as it gets. This album talks about topics like stress, anxiety, heartbreak, depression, drug use, suicide, and many other issues that need to be spoken off on a wider stage.
Artist .thrax beautifully describes “Social Disconnect” saying, “My album embodies the feeling that I have of not fitting in with society, and what our society believes in. I’m not talking about materialistic things, rather the spiritual and emotional aspects. I’m painting a picture of the deep thoughts that we all have. The thoughts at 1 in the morning, when we can’t sleep, about the hard things that we experience that we try to hide from and escape. I talk about real life and how when our feelings hit, they hit HARD.”
Artist .thrax has had his share of ups and downs in his life; this is what makes him capture every emotion of hardship and struggle perfectly in his music. When he embarked on his musical journey, he failed a lot of times, but he never gave up trying. This is what helped him grow through the entire process that ultimately helped him succeed. The tables have turned now. With his hard work and dedication, .thrax has earned a position where he is loved and respected by people. He has gained over a million streams on leading platforms and is the proud owner of New York’s largest independent record label.
Artist .thrax strongly believes that everyone has lows in life, and sometimes, the situation becomes so bizarre that you might find escape in ending your life. He has been there too. But your passion for living and achieving things that you’ve always dreamt of must be bigger than any other emotion. As .thrax says, “There is always hope and love; you just have to look for it!”
