Once a weapon has been identified, the system sends an alert to an administrator’s mobile device or computer screen, who then can alert the police and share the camera’s live feed to help officers quickly and effectively respond to the situation.

While there have been privacy concerts, the company maintains the system’s sole function is to identify weapons, not collect data on people. The system does not store information but rather identifies threats in real-time by acting as a high-tech security system that watches over students.
