Montreal pillow manufacturer Pilloo recently updated its pillow design service, which enables customers to create one-of-a-kind throws featuring prints of personal photos.

Montréal, Canada - February 7, 2024 /PressCable/ —
The updated design service, which is available on Pilloo’s website, requires customers to upload a personal photo that is then transferred onto the fabric of the pillow using an advanced sublimation technique.
More details can be found at https://www.pilloo.ca
Programmed to be quick and easy to use, the updated service enables customers to create huggable memories from the comfort of their own homes. “After a customer uploads a personal photo to the service, it generates a mock-up of the pillow that they can edit and adjust until they are satisfied,” explained a spokesperson for Pilloo. “Once satisfied, they just have to select the shapes, sizes, and quantity of pillows they want and submit their order.”
In terms of shapes, Pilloo gives customers the choice between traditional shapes, like squares, circles, and triangles, or a custom shape, which in most cases, will be the shape of the subject in the photo. For sizes, they are a bit more limited, offering small (16”), medium (24”), large (36”), and life-size (60”).
The pillows are all cut and sewn by hand at Pilloo’s Montreal factory using high-quality materials and tools. For the shells of the pillows, they opt for a combination of soft velvet and wrinkle-free polyester, while for the stuffing they use a poly-fil.
All of Pilloo’s products are made with consideration for both the customer and the environment. The fabrics and filling materials are all eco-friendly, hypoallergenic, and anti-microbial, and the inks and resins utilized in the printing process are non-toxic.
Customers can get all sorts of personal photos printed on the pillows, from family portraits and graduation snaps to selfies and pictures of pets. The pillows make ideal gifts for holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and reunions.
“Pilloo recently turned one of my all-time favourite photos of my dog into a custom pillow for me and I couldn’t be happier with the results,” said a satisfied customer. “The velvet that they used for the pillow is incredibly soft and the print could not be clearer. Now I can admire my furry friend even when he’s not in the same room as me.”
