SurgiMac, a New York-based supplier of medical, dental, and hospital supplies, is offering an updated range of infection-prevention supplies, which includes new options for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as EPA-certified disinfectant wipes and sprays effective against both SARS-CoV-2 and Candida Auris.
More information about infection prevention supplies for healthcare providers, registration for same-day shipping, and the full catalog from SurgiMac can be found at https://surgimac.com/
To ensure that US healthcare providers have access to the proper disinfectants and protective gear for emerging pathogens, SurgiMac has partnered with major healthcare suppliers such as PDI, Dynarex, and Biofreeze. The company regularly updates its stock to include the latest disinfectant formulas and provides detailed information about each product, including a list of EPA certifications.
While many hospital-grade disinfectants have been found effective against SARS-CoV-2, there are fewer options that have attained EPA certification against C. Auris. SurgiMac provides several options which are certified to eliminate the virus in 2 minutes or less, including Sani-Cloth Germicidal Wipes from PDI, and Cavicide 1 wipes from Metrex.
Healthcare providers can also access a full range of PPE, including gloves, masks, caps, and gowns, with the same fast-shipping options for registered members. Although SurgiMac carries PPE from several trusted suppliers, the company also manufactures its own brand of protective equipment to the highest quality standards.
SurgiMac works to provide the widest possible range of healthcare products from trusted brands; however, in some situations, a certain product or brand may not be available from the company’s website. Clients unable to find the items they require are encouraged to contact a SurgiMac representative, who will work with them to find comparable substitutes, or to special order the required products.
Using a network of warehouses located from coast to coast, SurgiMac is able to provide fast shipping for its entire catalog to clients anywhere in the USA. Registered members can also have their items shipped the same day it is ordered, at no extra cost, by placing an order before noon, EST.
Registration will also allow clients to access the complete range of SurgiMac products, including items that are restricted from public sales, such as injectable anesthetics. To access same-day shipping and the complete catalog, healthcare providers can register their clinic, hospital, or practice for no cost on the SurgiMac website.
