Born in Independence and raised in Montpelier, Louisiana, she did not grow up with the expectation of becoming a chiropractor yet the experiences throughout her life brought her to the crossroads of becoming a chiropractic physician. Upon graduating from Xavier University in 2007, Dr. Bee enrolled at Tulane University School of Public Health where she obtained her Master of Public Health degree in 2008. She then went on to continue her education at Life University, where she participated in several clubs and technique classes, and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2012. She is board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and state licensed in both Louisiana and Georgia.
Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients' health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo, and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients' functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body's musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.
On a more personal note, Dr. Bee is an ordained minister who enjoys spreading the "Gospel" to all. She also enjoys singing, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.
