New York City, Jan 4, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - As a respected obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Botney cares for women throughout their pregnancies, straight through to the delivery of their baby. She offers her services at Mercy Clinic OB/GYN - Medical Tower B Suite 4005B in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Mercy Clinic OB/GYN at Medical Tower B Suite 4005B offers a variety of specialists and women's health services in one convenient location. The team caters to the unique needs of women, including care during pregnancy, gynecology services, and surgery, as well as imaging services. So whether it's an annual check-up or a baby on the way, their focus is on bringing each patient a personalized and friendly experience every time they visit.
A former Director of Insurance Accounting with CitiBank, Dr. Botney held this position for six years prior to her medical practice. Upon an illness in her family, she felt a need and desire to help and do more than accountancy. She decided to change career paths to the medical field, graduating with her medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 1984. She then went on to perform her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 1988.
Licensed to practice medicine in Missouri, Dr. Botney is affiliated with Mercy Hospital St. Louis, St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, and St. Louis Multispecialty Surgery Center. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.
Having been in practice for nearly four decades, Dr. Botney is the recipient of the Patients' Choice Award (2011, 2013, 2014, 2015), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2011, 2013, 2014, 2015), and On-Time Doctor Award (2014, 2015, 2016).
