Inner Peace Counseling offers patients an experience unlike any other.
Counselors and therapists at Inner Peace Psychological Services and Integrative Wellness Center partner with patients to create the most effective and individualized treatment approach to facilitate optimal well-being.
Counselors integrate evidence-based counseling, modalities, and other integrative and holistic approaches to customize each treatment approach.
Inner Peace honors the belief that healing occurs not only on an emotional or biological level but holistically in mind, body, and spirit. Each counseling session is time-dedicated to healing in a compassionate, non-judgmental, and confidential environment.
Types of Counseling Sessions Include:
– Mindfulness-based counseling
– Animal-assisted counseling
– Psychotherapy with EMDR
For adults, counselors are experienced in many different areas. Practitioners at Inner Peace view every person holistically, treating various challenges, diagnoses, and dual diagnoses.
Some areas of expertise for adults include bullying, self-harm, grief & loss, anxiety orders, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social phobia, psychotic disorder, and more.
Inner Peace Counseling also offers child counseling. From ages 3-9, the counseling process includes playing therapy with parent psycho-education and family counseling sessions, while Adolescents may participate in the individual counseling process. It may be beneficial, however, for parents or other family members to be included in some of the sessions at different stages in the counseling process.
Areas of service for children include child-parent relationship challenges, self-worth and self-esteem challenges, sibling challenges, adjustment disorders, and more.
Privacy is extremely important to Inner Peace Counseling. Each counseling session is confidential, protecting each patient’s rights. It is important to note that there may be a few circumstances where confidentiality is breached.
Circumstances include the following:
– Child abuse
– Elder abuse
– A court subpoena is served
– The client reports a plan to cause harm to himself or herself or another individual
