ID123 Launches a Digital ID Solution for Professional Licenses and Certifications

Waltham, Massachusetts Apr 1, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Licensing and certification authorities are now able to effortlessly issue digital ID cards to professionals. ID123 is a web-based platform that enables licensing and certification authorities to issue digital ID cards into a mobile Professional ID app. With the rapid acceleration towards a fully digital society, ID123's wallet technology enables licensing and certification authorities to embed professional credentials within a digital ID card that the professional can carry with them wherever they go. ID123 provides an easy-to-use mobile application and cloud-based ID management infrastructure to quickly get the initiative off the ground.

Eliminate Printing and Shipping Fees with ID123

Using ID123's ID Management System, licensing and certification authorities can issue digital ID cards through email. Once the email is received, licensed professionals can easily click a link to download their encrypted digital ID card into the Professional ID app. The digital ID card can store digital proof of their license or certification. "By going digital, our customers save a lot of money on the printing and shipping costs associated with physical ID cards," says Meg Regan of ID123. "Additionally, licensing authorities can manage digital ID cards remotely and no longer need to issue new physical credentials every renewal."

Manage ID Cards Entirely Remotely and Online

Digital ID cards installed in the app can be renewed, deactivated, archived, and revoked through the web-based ID Management System. The solution provides administrators a safe, contactless way to issue and manage digital ID card records linked to their credentials. Administrators can easily update card expiration dates online upon approving renewal applications. Administrators are also able to message their Professional ID card holders from within the App. "Our messaging feature allows for administrators to send push notifications directly to users' mobile devices," says Regan. "These notifications can be sent to one or multiple Professional ID App users at a time."

Eco-Friendly Digital ID Cards Are Our Future

"Millions of plastic ID cards are lost every year, forcing cardholders to replace them, which is not only costly but detrimental to our environment," says Regan. "According to the Sea Save Foundation, over 8 million tons of plastic enter the oceans each year which are extremely harmful to human and marine health. At ID123 we are committed to helping reduce plastic pollution in the world with our innovative digital ID card solution." Making eco-friendly changes to your institution can be challenging, but ID123 is here to help make that transition easy.
