Blake Bruner, managing partner of Hornet Moving, launched the company in January 2016. Since then the locally owned and operated company has grown to more than 25 employees, all local residents.
The company consistently earns five-star reviews on both Facebook and Yelp as customers compliment the movers for being efficient, hard-working, trustworthy and fast.

Hornet Moving employs clean-cut, athletic young men who work hard to make residents’ move easy. All movers are professionally trained full-time employees.
The company handles both commercial and residential moving and packing. The Charlotte moving company charges a flat hourly rate with a two-hour minimum on most jobs and no travel charge within Charlotte. Rates are calculated by the minute and not rounded up so customers only pay for the time that movers work.
Moves are made in large box trucks up to 26 feet with plenty of room to fit families’ furniture and belongings. Movers bring their own hand trucks, dollies, furniture pads and the rest of the tools and equipment they need to complete the job. Hornet Moving carries full commercial insurance including actual value replacement to provide customers with peace of mind.
