Caring for patients from adolescence to end of life, she provides exceptional care both in-office (Physicians Alliance of Connecticut Primary Care - Madison) and during home visits for patients when acutely sick.
Physicians Alliance of Connecticut (PACT) is a multi-specialty medical group that is led and operated by more than 50 physician members. At the start of her academic career, Dr. Ede attended the University of Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science. She then worked for over 5 years at St. Raphael's Hospital as a Cytotechnologist before she went on to medical school at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies where she earned her medical degree in 2001.
She continued her studies at Middlesex Hospital where she completed her residency in family medicine and was Chief Resident in her last year. Dr. Ede was a partner in her last practice where she worked for 13 years prior to joining PACT.
Dedicated to excellence, she is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
Furthermore, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.
Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
In her spare time, Dr. Ede enjoys traveling, art, music, and literature.
