The city's only independent hybrid repair facility keeps on giving this year.
Powered by Ervine's Auto Repair, Grand Rapids Hybrid further improves its services this year through continuous training and exemplary customer service. Owners Jamie and Eric Carlson say that this is in response to the overwhelmingly positive reviews over the past 12 months.
At 4.9 out of 5 stars from hundreds of Google reviews, Grand Rapids Hybrid stays the best-reviewed shop in the region. As impressed customer Michael H. noted:
"Skipping the dealer was a great decision. The people here know more and are not just part swappers. If I could, I'd give 10 out of 5 stars."
Most Reliable Hybrid Auto Repair in Grand Rapids
Eric Carlson highlights the importance of continuous automotive education and training among the staff. All their mechanics are certified by the Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as L1 Tech Master Technicians or Advanced Specialists.
Grand Rapids Hybrid technicians take exams every five years to keep their certification. Eric helps write the ASE hybrid test itself, as he holds an L3 Hybrid certification.
The shop also delivers quality services for cars with conventional automotive engines. The quality of their work is backed by a 36,000-mile / 3-year nationwide warranty for the customers' peace of mind.
Customer Satisfaction is Key
Co-owner Jamie Carlson notes that excellent customer experience acts as the cornerstone of their services. Customers can comfortably stay at the fully air-conditioned lounge and drink Starbucks coffee as the mechanics perform necessary repairs.
Jamie adds that they have six loaner vehicles if the clients have to stay mobile while their hybrids are not available. The goal is to relieve any stress from them and provide them the best value for their time and money. In a review by repeat customers Kate and Al W:
"This may sound a bit strange, but we actually get excited when we notice some problems with our cars. That means it's time to see our friends again at Grand Rapids Hybrid. Great customer service!"
Active Community Involvement in Grand Rapids
More than just an automotive business, Grand Rapids Hybrid commits to giving back to the city. Through car shows and partnerships with charitable institutions, the repair shop raises awareness on timely concerns and money for the welfare of residents.
The company also supports programs of non-profit organizations like Kids Hope and The Jenison High School Autism Classroom. The owners plan to continue outreach and community programs for the years to come.

‘Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall’ Review: Paul Thomas Anderson Directs a Rapturous Solo Concert Movie Built Around the Songs — and Haunting Sound — of Cameron Winter
The slow rolling piano echo through the hall like a rhapsody from the deep. The sound is rich, lustrous, bottom-heavy, grand. And that voice! Winter sings in a low baritone (and occasionally a high one) of astonishing power, the notes hanging there in a suspended quaver so bold it’s hypnotic.
