Up to this day, their domestic coffee farmers still rely on natural resources. Their coffee plantations, both for Arabica and Robusta coffee, lie on high altitudes of up to 1.800 meters above sea level. This factor further presents a cloudy rainforest environment and an ideal microclimate, which are perfect for coffee growing. Instead of harmful substances, the coffee farmers take the waste materials and turn them to environmentally-friendly fertilizers. The growth of the coffee beans is also supported by rich-nutrient soil from volcanoes throughout Indonesia.

After the green coffee beans are obtained, the farmers hand-sort the beans before distributing the green coffee beans to their coffee supplier.
