Relode—one of the fastest growing, online referral-based platform for healthcare jobs—today announced that it has appointed marketing executive Hal Hassall as Chief Marketing Officer to lead the Relode marketing team through its next phase of growth and innovation.
Hassall, a seasoned veteran in marketing and sales strategy, will spearhead all aspects of Relode’s marketing strategy. He served previously as the Vice President of Marketing at SmileDirectClub, and has been the Principal at Hassall Consulting for over nine years, providing companies strategic guidance in go-to-market strategy, lead generation and digital marketing.
“I met Hal years ago while spending time with my good friend Doug Hudson while they were just starting SmileDirectClub. I quickly realized why Hal had been selected as one of the early employees of the now billion dollar venture, said Matt Tant, CEO of Relode. “Hal is one of the most scrappy, hardworking, and creative marketers I have ever met, and he is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and get the job done. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Relode and a daily passion for our mission and purpose. We are blessed to have Hal on our leadership team.”
As a referral-based, crowdsourced recruiting platform, Relode empowers doctors, nurses, and other professionals to refer peers to jobs in healthcare and earn referral fees, improving hiring efficiency and reducing hiring expenses by more than 50 percent over traditional staffing agencies and hiring methods.
“Relode is changing the game for healthcare companies looking to hire top talent at speed. Their clients are able to take advantage of an expanding community of virtual recruiters who can source the right candidates any time, anywhere, at a fraction of the cost of traditional recruiting agencies,” said Doug Hudson, Founder in Residence at Juxtapose and former CEO of SmileDirect Club. “I’ve worked with Hal for nearly a decade in four startups, and he’s got a knack for finding creative ways to generate demand and rapid scale. He is exactly what Relode needs to accelerate its growth to the next level.”
