Fall Protection Distributors has launched its latest selection to complement its existing line of roofing safety equipment, which includes the company’s popular standing seam roof anchor device. The move comes in support of ongoing efforts to reduce death and injury caused by falls from height.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and Occupational Safety & Health Authority, the construction industry accounts for the greatest number of workplace deaths. Among those, falls are the leading contributor, accounting for 33.5% of all construction worker fatalities. While falls from height impact other industries, the construction sector is responsible for over 50% of deaths in that category.

Fall Protection Distributors has developed its line of roofing safety products in a bid to provide construction workers with the maximum levels of protection. The updated line of harnesses features additional padding for the back and shoulders, and multiple adjustment points are designed to enhance comfort.

Harnesses from various manufacturers are now available at different price points, with most products being suitable for a variety of worker weights. Items have also been tested in accordance with applicable ANSE and OSHA standards.
