Due To Increase In Material Costs, Discount On Mommy Please Play Food End Soon

Apr 26, 2017

Mommy Please issued a statement today to inform customers that due to continued increase in materials costs, the current discounts on their best-selling play food set will be ending soon.

Atlanta, United States - April 26, 2017 /PressCable/ —

Since the launch of their 125-piece play food set last year, Mommy Please has grown from a new company into an Amazon.com best-seller. During this time, they have gained a loyal base of customers who like the quality of the Mommy Please play food set, and support their mission that education of children through play is key to teaching healthy eating habits. Although Mommy Please has worked hard to keep the pricing of their play food set as low as possible, another increase in materials cost means that the end prices to customers must also raise.

“We have worked hard to keep our prices affordable for customers,” explained Mommy Please spokesperson Elsie Murphy. “As a company, we know that we need to make a profit, but we have done our best to consider that our primary objective is educating children about healthy eating. We do not want the price of our play food set to prevent a child from having our product. At the same time, with these latest increase in material costs, we cannot simply absorb the loss. There is not enough margin in this product. We understand that less expensive materials might be available, but those do not meet the quality standards of Mommy Please. We want to assure our customers that we will continue to seek out ways to ensure our play food set is affordable for all.”

The Mommy Please play food is made of BPA-free plastic that is durable and shatterproof, which means there are no harmful chemicals used in the production of the toy food set. The food pieces are bright and colorful, with some pieces containing labels with fun food facts, making the play set both educational and fun. Through imaginative play, children can learn about new foods and healthy eating, as all four food groups are included. The play food set contains such items as eggs, bread, watermelon, asparagus, milk, juice, hamburger, carrots, grapes, chicken, broccoli, ice cream, bananas, and pizza.

Customers applaud the Mommy Please play food set. With over 400 reviews, 99% of customers indicate they like their play food set. One satisfied customer wrote, “I went back and forth trying to decide which set to get for my grandson. At 2 he’s always trying to feed me imaginary food. From imaginary to pretend he hasn’t stopped playing with this set since it came today. My plan was to split it up as mentioned by another reviewer, but he wasn’t having it! He’s alway in the kitchen at my side everyday. This is a great little set that will be used outside as well in his little swing/table clubhouse area. My spring and summer I’m sure will be filled with many pretend meals.”

The Mommy Please educational play food set can be purchased exclusively on Amazon.com. The price will remain discounted at $23.97 for a limited time – a significant savings off the retail price. Free shipping is available through Amazon.
