DGL Hires Senior Marketer to Expand Electronic Rideables Success

DGL Group, LLC, has hired retail and brand executive Baird Little in the role of Vice President/General Merchandising Manager. Baird will initially focus on all aspects of the Hover-1 brand of electronic rideables. A pioneer in this rapidly expanding category, Hover-1 produces hoverboards and eScooters for all age groups.
Baird, an expert in retail, has diverse experience in merchandising, product development, brand development, and digital marketing. He will drive the Hover-1 brand expansion and digital marketing strategy. In addition, he will play a key role in DGL's overall evolution and growth.

Prior to joining DGL, Baird served as Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer at Simply Smart Home. Under his tenure he restructured the corporate identity, expanded the product roadmap, directed the evolution of the software interface, established a broad digital strategy and launched a multiyear partnership with Disney.
Baird has a long history of marketing achievements, which will greatly benefit DGL owned brands and license partnerships. He has held key roles at Toys R Us, where he developed a passion for marketing toys; Pyramid, where he built close partnerships with Lucasfilm and Disney; Brookstone, where he built patented products and proprietary brands; Able Planet, where he focused on IP with partnerships with Apple and other technology brands; and Bed Bath & Beyond, where he launched a smart home initiative, expanding personal electrics and establishing comprehensive programs with key licensing partners Disney, Warner Bros and the major sports leagues.
