Palm Beach Gardens, United States - September 14, 2017 /PressCable/ —
A new Crossfit WOD site has launched called WOD List, which focuses on high intensity workouts and detailed information on where to find Crossfit centers for anyone who wants to take part. In Crossfit terms, WOD stands for Workout Of The Day, and usually involves intensive workouts that prove rewarding for those who finish them. WOD List offers insight into how people can get involved. More information can be found at: http://WODList.com.
The site explains that at Crossfit boxes all around the world, people walk in without knowing what their workout will be for that day. This means that every day a new WOD gets posted, whether it’s an official Crossfit series of exercises or one that is made up by a trainer at the gym. A full list of workouts is provided on the WOD List website so people can dive in and benefit from some of the most well known Crossfit workouts and get right into working out. In addition to this, there are videos so that people can see how the workouts look before they try them.
Crossfit is a high intensity, constantly varied and functional movement exercise program that started in the early 2000s and has since increased rapidly in popularity. One of the benefits of Crossfit is that it puts people in touch with like minded people who can work together to get in the best shape of their lives. It is based on the philosophy of using bodyweight for resistance in order to build power all over. In a similar way to high intensity interval training, it means that there are no standard exercises or routines, and some workouts don’t even need the use of equipment or added weights. Crossfit was first introduced to help cover cardiovascular and respiratory domains, as well as improving stamina, strength, flexibility and speed and power. This can help with losing weight naturally and building weight through varied workouts that target the whole body.
