London, United Kingdom, November 1, 2018 — CEX.IO, one of the oldest UK-based crypto exchanges, will celebrate five years of operation.

On November 1, 2013, CEX.IO was incorporated under the UK jurisdiction.

“At every stage during these five years, CEX.IO was focused on enabling our users to engage with a new economy in an easy, efficient, and transparent way. We were the first to offer cloud mining services with the largest mining pool, Ghash.io. Similarly, CEX.IO was the first to popularize purchases of cryptocurrencies via credit and debit cards.” — Oleksandr Lutskevych, CEO of CEX.IO

The CEX.IO cryptocurrency exchange was born from the trading platform launched for trading mining power of the largest-ever mining pool, Ghash.io. Today, CEX.IO is a sustainable, growing, and result-oriented company with almost 300 employees and representation in the UK, the US, Ukraine, Latvia, Cyprus, and Gibraltar. With more than 2.6 million users across the globe, CEX.IO provides stable services backed by cold cryptocurrency storage, financial viability, strong security, and KYC and AML best practices.

As a crypto pioneer, CEX.IO supports legal initiatives aimed at bringing more credibility to the industry through active participation in CryptoUK.
