Pandemic relief funds are still available for most small and medium-sized business owners in the USA, using the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) program. Using the most recent changes to the program, nearly any business can now claim pandemic relief funds, including startups, new companies founded during the pandemic, and non-profit organizations. Business owners can use the fast application service to claim up to $26,000 per employee in rebates, which is not a loan or deferral, and never requires repayment.
Employers that have already enrolled in, or received funds from, the federal government’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) can now also enroll in the ERC, even if they were disqualified initially. To qualify, a business must only be able to show that it had between 5 and 500 W-2 employees on the payroll and that it was negatively affected by the pandemic in some way.
LP Consulting’s updated no-cost, no-obligation eligibility assessment can help any employer to pre-qualify, using the answers to 10 simple questions. The assessment takes approximately one minute to complete, without requiring any proprietary business information, and includes an estimate of the funding available for each employer.
Funding estimates received through the eligibility assessment are approximations only. Eligible employers will also receive a link to the 15 Minute Refund program, a fast application service that can be used to complete the required paperwork and calculate the exact amount of funding that can be claimed.
The 15 Minute Refund program allows any eligible business to apply for the maximum allowable rebate, with no risk or up-front fees, and only 15 minutes required from the business owner. This fast application service is only available from a single firm of ERC specialist CPAs, which has partnered with LP Consulting to help business owners complete their applications before the deadline.
Individual rebates will vary based on several factors, though with no upper limit on funding, some business owners have been able to claim upwards of $2 million in tax credits, which never need to be repaid.
