Bronzeville Knee Pain Paid Clinical Trial For Over 50s 2022 Enrollment Announced

Chicago Clinical Research Institute (312-823-6800) has announced its latest paid clinical trial for individuals over 50 in Bronzeville, Illinois, suffering from osteoarthritis knee pain who are interested in trying a new injection treatment.

Volunteers in Bronzeville will not only receive the trial’s drug that may reduce and eliminate their knee pain but also get compensation for their time and travel, if they qualify.
An estimated 100 million Americans suffer from chronic knee pain which can be debilitating and reduce the quality of life for those suffering from the condition. Furthermore, many existing treatments can be ineffective or only mildly alleviate osteoarthritis symptoms. The team at the Chicago Clinical Research Institute are on a mission to find a new and more effective treatment with their latest clinical trials.
The call for volunteers sees the Illinois research facility seek out individuals who have tried several treatments in the past but have had little to no success in eliminating their knee pains. This includes those who have tried treatments such as physical therapy and the removal of excess fluid, and/or steroids.
Members of the trial need to be committed to taking part for a full 52 weeks as well as having no scheduled surgery planned for the year. Additionally, the trial requires volunteers to be aged 18 years or older, have a BMI of less than 40, and not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
As a paid clinical trial, the Chicago Clinical Research Institute provides compensation to volunteers for their time and travel expenses. Enrolled participants can also take pride in the fact that they are helping to advance osteoarthritis treatments for their fellow knee pain sufferers and finding life-changing therapies.
Based in Chicago, the team at the Chicago Clinical Research Institute has over 50 years of clinical research experience, having conducted over 250 trials since 2005. The facility’s latest trial enrollment is available to residents in and around Chicago and Chicago suburbs, including Bronzeville, Oak Park, Lincolnwood, South Park, Skokie, Humble Park, and Englewood areas of Illinois.
