Author Brian Heuett's New Book 'Into His Hands I Commit: Experiences of a Convert of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' Outlines His Spiritual Journey.
Apr 20, 2022
Brian Heuett, who has devoted his life to teaching professionally as a professor of interpersonal communication and public speaking, has completed his new book "Into His Hands I Commit: Experiences of a Convert of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints": a gripping and potent work in which the author tells of his personal experiences he had via conversations with other people and through prayer.
Brian has held several positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including bishop, high counselor, counselor in bishoprics, teacher in Sunday school courses, and seminary teacher for the Church Education System.
The author centers his message on the moral and spiritual aspects of good living, learning, and converting to the Lord, Jesus Christ. The chapters of the work have been adapted from personal experiences of the author's life, detailing how he was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Each chapter discusses how he became acquainted with the teachings and doctrines of the Latter-day Saint gospel.
Brian introduces his work, writing, "In this book, I have written what I have come to believe are the most important experiences that have made me partly who I have become spiritually over many years. Life has been exciting, meaningful, and gratifying personally, penetrating my heart deeply in many aspects."
With each chapter of the book, readers learn and understand the true conversion of the author, who deepened his relationship with Christ and with his Heavenly Father through sincere prayer, making covenants through baptism, keeping temple covenants and promises, and obtaining a sense of unity with the Father and the Son.
Some of the chapters discuss assignments the author experienced as a new convert, the decision to go on a mission, and the blessings that came to his family from making good, righteous choices in his personal life.
Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Brian Heuett's engaging work was written with the hope that readers will find the strength to overcome inadequacies, challenges, and trials, finding success in turning their lives over to God.
