COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- AC Lens is a leader in the eyewear industry that strives to offer quality contact lenses at an affordable price. Making popular brands such as Acuvue, Air Optix, and Dailies accessible to everyone has always been their goal—and the discounted prices have not gone unnoticed.
AC Lens was ranked number one among eight of their competitor websites by ContactsCompare.com. The sites were ranked first to last based on the price of each individual product. The scores for each product were then averaged to give each online retailer their Average Price Rank.
"Our new price rankings reflect AC Len's commitment to providing consumers access to affordable contact lenses," said Camilo Maldonado, CEO of Contacts Compare. "Of the 154 AC Lens contact lenses sold at other retailers, AC Lens offered the lowest price on 76 of those contact lenses and the 2nd lowest price on another 54 contact lenses. In fact, only 10 of their contact lenses were outside of the three lowest-priced sites. No other contact lens site was able to match their record."
With their large variety of contact lenses at low price points, the competition was far from taking the lead over AC Lens when it came to affordability.
"Price was exactly where AC Lens stood out from the pack in our latest contact lens price study," said Maldonado. "In fact, AC Lens was among the three lowest-priced sites for 94% of the products analyzed, a whopping 15% points higher than the next closest rival."
Along with price, Contacts Compare also examined user experience, customer service, and shipping and return policies at the stores. AC Lens stood out as having a longer return policy than most with 365 days to return any unopened products.
