Pune, India - March 14, 2018 /MarketersMedia/ —

For the purposes of this profile, a generic is defined as a copy of an ethical (prescription) drug formerly protected by patents that have now expired. Both unbranded generics and all branded generics are included. However, off-patent drugs that continue to be offered by the original manufacturer under the original name, and which form part of the 'generic-eligible' market, are not included. The market value is evaluated at ex-factory prices. Market volume is quantified here as the percentage of the total ethical pharmaceutical market volume in a country or region which is accounted for by generic drugs. It is therefore a generics penetration rate measure, not an absolute measure of market volume. Regional volumes are calculated as weighted averages of countries which make up the region in question where volume data exists.

Universal Pictures predicted that "Glass" will make about $47 million over the four-day holiday weekend. Some industry forecasts had gone as high as $75 million over four days. But poor reviews took some of the momentum away from "Glass," Shyamalan's final entry in a trilogy begun with 2000's "Unbreakable" and followed up with 2017's...

PORTLAND, Maine — The late founder of the Dead Poets Society of America can be inducted to the society of fallen bards now that he's now a published poet. Now he's becoming a published poet, posthumously, on the one-year anniversary of his death Sunday, thanks to the efforts of two of his children. Simon and Charles Skold curated their father's poems for the book "The Mirror is Not Cracked." They self-published the tome to ensure it would...

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — The Oscars race may have gotten a little clearer Saturday night as the race-themed road trip drama "Green Book" drove off with the top honor at the Producers Guild Awards, winning out over presumed front-runners like "Roma," ''A Star Is Born" and "Black Panther." "When you make 'Dumb and Dumber' you never expect to get an award," said "Green Book" producer and director Peter Farrelly as he accepted the Darryl F. Zanuck Award at the untelevised ceremony in Beverly Hills. He laughed that not only is this his first PGA awards, but that it's the first...
